FAQ'S

DO WE NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your wedding date. After this the remaining balance is due 28 days before the wedding.

WHY CHOOSE A SECOND SHOOTER?

A second filmmaker can be available on the day. This option is recommended where morning preparations are required across two separate locations, your guest lists exceeds 100, or at venues that impose filming restrictions; such as places of worship. The solo filmmaker option is recommended for intimate weddings with under 100 guests, taking place in one small/medium sized venue.

WILL WE MEET BEFORE THE BIG DAY?

If possible, I would love to meet with you a month or two before-hand. This gives us an opportunity to run through the final details once the schedule is in place, and also to get to know each other a little so we connect on the day. If a meeting isn't logistically possible then that's fine too, I'll give you a call and we can discuss it all from the comfort of your own sofa.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE WEDDING?

After the big day I will get to work on editing your films! I edit every wedding myself, and dedicate at least 30 hours to each one. All weddings are edited in the order they were filmed and the delivery date depends on factors such as; the time of year, the number of hours covered, and the duration of your ceremony and speeches. Your film is therefore guaranteed within 6 months, but the average turnaround time is 16 weeks.

HOW LONG WILL OUR wedding feature BE?

Your wedding 'feature' will typically be between 15-25 minutes long. This depends a little on your schedule on the day; whether it's an early or late ceremony, and whether or not a second shooter is included. All online trailers are 2-3 minutes long, and your ceremony + speeches will be delivered fully edited as stand-alone films, that you can play back in real time.

CAN WE CHOOSE OUR OWN MUSIC?

Of course! Music plays a huge role in the crafting of your film, it sets the tone and helps form the basis of the narrative. I love that everybody's preferences are different, so after the wedding I will ask you to send me 5 or 6 tracks that are significant to you, which I will feature in the extended highlights 'feature'.  In order to avoid copyright infringement it is best to use a licensed song for the mini highlights trailer shared online. I will take your preferences in to consideration when choosing one from the catalogue, and will pick one that I feel best compliments the footage and reflects the overall vibe of the day.
